I've posted before about what I think is muscle pain to my bump which lasted a couple of days then stopped. However its come back tonight but only this time I think baby isn't moving as much I've sat for half hour and felt it 3 times. Is this normal or should I ring maternity unit?

If it's a change in what you know as normal then no harm giving them a call and see what they say

I think ring them. Better to get some one to listen to baby and check you over. They won't mind. How many weeks are you? They will tell you what to look out for.

Im 36 weeks. I just don't want to waste their time. How often should I feel it move?

There's no right or wrong answer to that. If it's different for you and your baby, phone them. They would much rather you call amd it be nothing than not call and miss something. Phone them now!

I've just come back from my local assessment unit for reduced movements (34+4). I didn't want to make a fuss but equally I couldn't shift my niggling doubt. They were lovely and I wish I'd done it sooner. Please ring and speak to someone and if you're concerned demand to be seen.

I went quite early on as I'd not felt any movement in 72 hours they saw me straight away. They were very reassuring and happy to see me.
