16 weeks - 3rd pg - movements

Currently 16+3 with 3rd pg (had MMC with 2nd pg last year) and felt tiny movements for the first time last weekend. Now I haven't felt anything for 4 days.

I called local EPAU and they said not to worry (seemed pretty unbothered about it to be fair)

Is this normal at this early stage as fetus is so tiny? Am I worrying too much?

Yep totally normally. Your baby is really small still and can twist and turn to face your back where you're less likely to feel the movements. They don't recommend that you count kicks until much later in your pregnancy because there really isn't much of a pattern to go off.

Far too early to be concerned, the majority of people will not have felt much movement at all by that point. The recommendations are to start looking for a pattern from 28 weeks. It is tiny and has so much room that you won't feel every nonevent for some time yet. Try not to worry. Though I know easier said than done!

Thank you. It's always so good to have some reassurance.

Definitely don't worry yourself this early my love. The problem with needing to be aware of movements is thst in the early days they are so infrequently felt.. I think I felt this one around the same time as you but only feeling him every day for the past week or so now and I'm 19w today. I bet by 18w or so it'll be the same for you xxx
