Waters breaking!?

So last night I started losing the mucus plug, and since then (during the night) I've been leaking a yellowish coloured discharge. It doesn't smell and its leaking slowly but consistently, every movement I make there's more coming out..
Is this my waters?
I've phoned triage and they said to put on a pad and lie on my left side for an hour and a half then to get up and if there's more fluid to go in. Also got bad lower back pain/period-like cramping!
I'm getting excited and cant wait to phone triage back after to hear what they say - anyone experience this too? Or am I just getting increased discharge?

I have no advice to offer as I was induced at 42 weeks and had my waters broken for me so I have never experienced this, but I just wanted to say good luck and I hope this is it! Keep us updated!

This happened to me on Thursday 3am. Had bloody show then have been damp for the last 24 hrs. I just thought as it was a hot day I was sweating but thought I would come in and get checked this morning.

Confirmed that my waters have gone so must have been slowly trickling. Now can't leave the hospital as it been over 24 hrs so it's about to all kick off I hope. Just hoping I infection.

Hope it all gets going soon, try to stay out of hospital as long as possible. Mine made me go in so they could check the pad themselves, and it was a real faff, and (I think) slowed the labour down.

Wow, that's keeping you on your toes! If you're technically pre-term, then ignore what I said and listen to the hospital's advice on when to go in, obviously.

I know loads of people who gave birth at around 36 weeks and had great births and very healthy babies (not that you sound worried, but just in case you were).

Triage have asked that I go in to be assessed as they think my waters are leaking. So on my way now, lets see if my cheeky little sea monkey is wanting to make his appearance soon or not!

So after waiting 8 hours in triage I am on my way home after being told that my waters haven't broken
I'm tired and absolutely starving but cant wait to get home! Maybe today is the shock I needed to actually get my hospital bag organised haha!
