2cm at 39+6 just had sweep will it work??

I'm 39+6 pg today and just been told I'm 2cm dilated midwife said cervix is really soft and she can feel baby's head, also gave me a sweep is it likely to work ??

I would say 90%

Hard to say. All I do know is that I went from 2cm to baby within 3 hrs when I was in labour.

Who knows.... Sweeps seem to be so hit and miss. I had 3 with DC1 and was induced at 41+5. I am now 41+1 with DC2, had one sweep to no effect, declined to have another one this morning.
