Was producing antibodies, now not - HELP!

I'm ORhNeg and in my second pg. At 28 weeks it was found that I was producing antibodies and began to be treated as if the baby was at risk of HDN. I had no idea how I had become sensitised, but the BTU was adamant that their results were correct.
Following a blood test last week, my titre is negligible and I have to receive anti-D now (am 34 weeks). BTU again is adamant that both results are valid, and that I must have been producing antibodies and then stopped. My consultant advises that no one has seen this before, and they are at a loss to understand how this can be.
The upshot is that I have to receive anti-D, need to be scanned on the 27th and following birth will have to have a series of blood tests so that the medical teams can understand what's going on.
I can't believe that I'm an anomaly - has anyone heard any of this before?

Mears, if you're around, have you had any experience of this?
