Hello, I'm new to this. I recently have sadly had 2 misscarriges, I have found out that I'm 4 weeks pregnant, I'm worried it's going to happen again.. Has anyone else been through this and 3rd pregnanacy go full term?

I haven't been through this, but I didn't want to leave your post unanswered. On the antenatal clubs page, there is a thread for pregnancy after miscarriage. I would recommend joining there to talk to others who have been through similar. Good luck with your pregnancy :)

Hi congratulations!! I had 2 early misscarriages at 6 week in July and December. In March I found out I was pregnant again and was terrified! But I am now 15+ 3 today and everything has gone fine so far - I got to have a comfort scan at 8 weeks where I saw my bean - and then the dating scan at 12. Fingers crossed for you - Remember 1/5 pregnancies end on m/c because of technology we know we're pregnant much earlier then We should this means we may think something is wrong with us when thee isnt if you see what I mean? Good luck!

Hi Shaylor, I'm on my 4th pregnancy 1st baby (hopefully!) - I've had 3 miscarriages, 1st when I was 18 (6-7 weeks), second when I was 20 (18wks) then nothing for years (to be fair wasn't trying!) then met my current partner and I decided to try and unfortunately had another mc last October at 10weeks and was utterly devastated as now I have the perfect partner and feel ready and secondly was worrying as I'm 35 now.

I know exactly how you are feeling as I am the same - I'm 17 weeks now and the slightest bit of discharge (sorry if tmi) I'm running to the bathroom on "knicker watch" to check myself out!!!!!

On the plus side owing to my history when I had my mc last oct they ran lots of tests and couldn't find a reason as such but said as the previous 2 were so long ago it was hard to make a connection but now they are keeping a really good eye on me and they will do the same for you. I was scanned when I found out - around 5 weeks, 9 weeks, 13 weeks (for 12 wk scan just a wk late) then again at 16 weeks then my 20 week scan is coming up. I'm also under a consultant who I see once a month too - people slate the NHS but the service I'm getting is excellent and they are really looking after me and have put a care plan in place.

Just keep nice and calm and positive - I really hope everything goes well for you; if you haven't already done so get a GP appointment as that will kick start all the others and you'll get your midwife appointment thru and hopefully that will be re-assuring for you. Xx

Shaylor, only been through one mc, that was tough enough, so big hugs to you.
The only thing to do is relax, don't stress.
Good luck am keeping fingers crossed for you and bean x

Hey OP. why don't you join us on the best shit place to be thread (there will be a new one soon as it's filling up and we'll try to make it more obvious in title but it's for pregnancy after mc and we are all lovely and know what you are going through)

I don't have any words that will make it better because it is just scary.. but I'll offer my hand and say I will be crossing everything for you. Congratulations x

Thank you everybody for replying. I'm waiting for a early scan to see what is going on, ive got bad stomach cramps at the moment but no blood this time, I'm trying not to stress to much. Xx

Hi - just to say, yes, I had two early miscarriages and my third pregnancy is a happy, healthy 22m old now. The odds are still very much in your favour that this pregnancy will work out and cramping is very common in early pregnancy. Crossing my fingers that you'll have a reassuring scan soon.

I'm just pregnant again now and am feeling the same type of fears that something will go wrong so empathise with how worrying it is. What helps me a bit is thinking of the first trimester as a "12 week wait" and remembering that miscarriage risk drops each day.
