First pregnancy so not really sure what's normal and what's not
I know that he now has a lot less room to move around but the past 2 days he just hasn't been as active
Felt slight fluttering this morning but nothing since
Been on my left side for an hour now and nothing...cause for concern or am I being paranoid?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
Theboxtrollsareallowed · 16/06/2015 16:36

Please just phone your hospital or just go in to triage/day assessment

Iloveonionchutney · 16/06/2015 16:39

Always get any difference in movement checked, the no room is a myth, you should still expect the same amount of movements. I'd call your midwife and get checked, probably nothing to worry about but best to get checked.

Shazza19901 · 16/06/2015 16:40

Thank you I will give them a call
Just don't want to make a fuss over nothing Blush

Better that than something getting missed, let us know how you get on.

KittyandTeal · 16/06/2015 16:45

I say the same on every one of these threads; docs and mws would rather see 100 mums 'fussing over nothing' than a stillborn baby.

Give them a call, I promise they won't think you're making a fuss

Flambola · 16/06/2015 16:52

Have you given them a call? The whole 'less room for baby to move' is garbage.

Shazza19901 · 16/06/2015 16:56

Phone line is engaged
If I don't get through soon just going to get OH to take me when he's home
My midwife told me just last week that less room means a little less moment Confused

If your on Facebook have a look at this page, the baby should move just as much, it's unfortunate that midwives are still saying these things. www.facebook.com/ukcountthekicks

Keep trying, they would much rather you came in if you are concerned at all.

HelenF350 · 16/06/2015 17:07

I'm 38+1 and certainly haven't noticed mine moving any less.

Shazza19901 · 16/06/2015 17:11

Finally got through, going to go in to be checked over hopefully all is fine :)
Thanks for the responses ladies I'll let you know how I get on x Smile

Hope everything is ok OP. I have found a cold dizzy drink or an ice holly can kick start the movements.

I also think that you certainly get different movement as you get bigger, if not less.
