28 week blood tests, what are they checking?

I know they check for diabetes and anaemia, but when giving me my results, the receptionist also said "antenatal screen - normal". What is the antenatal screen?

I think the 'antenatal screen' is just the name of the blood test, they are testing things like your blood count just to check that you aren't too run down from the pregnancy.

Ah, thanks happy. She read it out separately from the glucose and the anaemia, so I wondered. MW will tell me next week anyway, just curious!
