Do you take folic acid all the way through your pregnancy ?, I only was told to take it 12 weeks when I had my little boy but that was 4 years ago I have seen people say you now have to take it all the way through ? xx

My mw told me to take folic and vitamin d all way through the pregnancy

The first trimester is the critical time to take it because of spina bifida, but you can carry on if you want to. It's recommended to take vitamin D throughout, or a pregnancy multivitamin which will have that in.
