I'm only very early on in my pregnancy but already have a bump. I've bloated quite bad and it's actually looks like a baby bump although I know it's way too early. how many weeks did everyone start to show?

I had the bloat bump from about ten weeks. Now nearly 14wks and none of my trousers fit me now Shock

I'm currently 13 weeks and haven't really got any sign of a bump. Hurry up bump and grow ??

TreeSparrow · 10/06/2015 18:36

Dani, just enjoy your clothes still fitting you! Wink

I'm carrying low, so at 23 weeks I still look more like I've eaten too much rather than pregnant. I have 'B' belly, I'm just desperate for baby to break my waistline and look properly pregnant. It's difficult to say when bump came in, I gained a ridiculous amount of weight in the first few weeks that seems to be balancing out this side of the pregnancy, very strange! So it's been a very slow progress from early weight gain, to 'does it look like a bump today?', wish I had just 'popped' like everyone else Envy.

Had bloating really early on, but my actual bump, about 17 weeks I think.

FernGullysWoollyPully · 11/06/2015 11:45

I had a little round pudge since about 14 weeks. I gave into maternity trousers then when normal jeans became uncomfortable. But it was still easily hidden. I've just really popped and have a very visible bump at 24 weeks, it's been properly noticeable for a couple of weeks. People can't stop commenting on the monstrous size of me Hmm

I'm almost 5 weeks with my first and am so bloated I feel like I have a bump, even though I know it's not the baby. Not sure whether the bloating's worse because this is an IVF baby or if maybe I'm just a natural bloater. Thankfully I've spent the last year losing weight off-and-on; so if I snack a bit in the office they might just think I've fallen off the diet wagon!

Looking forward to it being a real baby bump rather than just big ol' bloat!

fanjodisfunction · 16/06/2015 11:06

third baby and its ten weeks and I've had to change into mat trousers already at eight weeks. I'm not sure if its bloat, baby or my body just excepting pregnancy early and to be honest my stomach muscles are shot now so it doesn't take long for me to look preggers.

I did wonder at one point if I was having twins as it is painful and uncomfortable to bend over and I didn't have this till about 16 weeks in my last pg. twins aren't in the family but you never know.

have to wait till the scan.

I am 6 weeks with my first, and so bloated! Must be retaining everything I drink and eat! Can't wear my trousers comfortably am living in leggings! I am quite slim usually so it's quite noticeable if I wear certain clothes! Congratulations to everyone

I am 21 weeks pregnant and started showing my bump now Smile.

newbian · 16/06/2015 12:54

20 weeks and just starting to show a bit if a wear tighter clothing. DH and I can tell even in looser clothing but to anyone who didn't know me I just look like I've gained weight in my mid-section. And I can still completely hide it in flowy tops. I bought a button extender so I'm still wearing my normal pants/skirts but stretching them out a bit at the waist.

I thought I had a bump around 10 weeks but it was just bloat. What I have now is kind of hard when I touch it.

Glindathegoodwitch · 16/06/2015 15:47

Nobody really shows in the first trimester, except perhaps with twins. It's all bloating. I am on DC2, 10 years since DC1. On DC1 I had a flat stomach until 5 months, haven't had one since. This time, at 10 weeks, I am bloated beyond belief, never in my life been so bloated. Some days I look 5 months pregnant and out come the floaty scarves and cardigans, other days I can slip my trousers on. Agree with River though, I've lost 4lbs so far but have put 2 pairs of trousers away as I can't do them up, waist is definitely getting thicker.

reallywittyname · 16/06/2015 21:50

I had bloat rather than bump, was able to wear normal trousers till I went pop at about 25 wks, both times. Am currently 37wks with dc2 and Bump is rock solid, no mistaking this!

Azquilith · 16/06/2015 21:56

About 16 weeks with DC1 I had basically a tennis ball lump, was hilarious, but didn't show in clothes till about 20.
Now at 11 weeks with DC2 and definitely have a bump, but it's not baby so just everything else going on. Suspect it might go down post T1 and be replaced by actual baby.
