Cocoonababy and sleepyhead

Just wondering whether anyone has opinions on these 2 things? My friend is using both for her baby but she was lent them by a friend so hasn't had to pay for them - she thinks they are both great and her baby loves them. However bearing in mind that they are both expensive and neither are essential - would like to get 1 but not both. I think they look good to use instead of having a moses basket and they are easy to take when visiting friends etc. So just wondered what others' opinions are?

I have got a sleepyhead but baby not arrived yet so cant comment on usage, but I went by the reviews and like you thought it would be a more versatile idea than a moses basket.

Sleepyhead has amazing reviews, I managed to get a second hand one luckily. It's one of the few products that is safe for nighttime sleeping, many of the similar ones are not so that swayed my choice. Resale price also good if you sell it on after.

As per other pps, I'm going with the sleepyhead. I don't like Moses baskets and baby will be going in its cot from day one and I think the sleepyhead will help with this.

My DTs had sleepyheads until they were about 9 months and then we swapped them for the grande ones. I love them. I love that wherever we stay - whatever they're sleeping in (travel cots or just on the floor or on a bed when they were tiny) it's the same as when they're at home. I think the grande ones are going to be great when they transition to beds.
