Hi Gurus of MN

Managed to bully/bribe convince DG we ought to start at least looking at prams as we have a full summer and no free weekends in July- late Sept and I am due in Oct.

So agreed to this sat!

Where is the biggest most varied, best to try out prams and car seats within a 40 min drive of Wandsworth/Tooting or even SW london?

Any suggestions ?

Much appreciated :)

There is a mothercare and Babies R Us at the retail park next to Sainsburys in Colliers Wood.

John Lewis in Kingston although it is always really busy on saturdays.

Thanks ladies.. are they big on choice to look at ? When i have passed the Mothercare in Colliers Wood it looked a bit small to stock a big range of prams/travel systems/buggies whatever people call the thing that moves babies about these days ;)

The mothercare at colliers wood is a decent size, with looking since babies r us is next door (although their selection is small).

John Lewis in Kingston has a good selection of pushchairs & esp carseats plus everything else you'll need

Peppermint on Northcote road is a small shop but sells lots of prams.

I third baby barn. Peppermint are in Kingston too, they are good as they match Internet deals but don't have so much different stock.
