Does anyone else have theirs coming up?

I have mine tomorrow and I'm not sure if I'm being silly but I'm totally dreading it. Im excited to see him again but worried obviously about problems

I had mine about 3 weeks ago and was dreading it like you are. I was being very irrational and convinced myself something was wrong. There wasn't and he was perfectly fine Grin

Thank you Laura! It seems such a long time to go without knowing everything is fine. I'm sure it will be but can't help running through horrible things in my head. Argh! Glad yours went well!

I'm 24 weeks now and the whole pregnancy up until my anomaly scan I was a nervous wreck!

I was told after my last scan that I really needed to just chill out which I've been trying to do but now I've started worrying about movement!?

I see your having a little boy like me :) is it your first?

LorryHen · 04/06/2015 13:37

It is so easy to get worked up about it. I think I need to calm down too, I'm ok until a scan or appointment comes up!

Yes I'm having a boy I found out at a private scan and he was very keen to show off Blush I'm really excited about it I can't wait to have a little boy just want to know he's fine!

It is my first yeah, is this your first? Are you due September or October ?

He will be fine and it will make you feel better but then you'll find something else to worry about lol :)

Yeah it's my first too, I'm due 23rd September. What about you?

LorryHen · 04/06/2015 13:57

Haha yeah true! I think I've signed myself up for a lifetime of worry. It will be worth it though.

I'm due 23 October so a month later. I feel so underprepared too I have no idea how much stuff I need!

I think that the bigger stuff is easier to think in advance for but I have no idea in regards to clothing. I'm worried I won't have enough but then people say they grow out of it so quickly.

I don't know if it helps but the 20 wk scan is a gift. People used not to get one. Most if the time everything is perfect. Sometimes there is a problem but plenty of the problems are fixable and knowing about issues early makes it so much easier to plan and prepare but even sometimes, saves the life of a baby that would not have survived to term. It's all part of a great health care system that gets more babies safely into their futures. That said of course I'll be nervous on the day of my 20 wk scan!
