Satsumas

Can't get enough of them. Only 10 weeks so my work doesn't know I'm pregnant - fortunately nobody has asked why I'm eating an entire net bag full of satsumas at my desk everyday! Haha

Just wondered if anyone else is loving them? ??

Satsumas are about all I can eat at the mo. Grin

Oh yes me. I'm 24 weeks and the need for juicy satsumas is still very strong. I'm digging plums as well

ejclementine · 03/06/2015 20:23

Hehe! Isn't it funny! They have cured my nausea I'm sure of it.

Ooh, plums! That's one I need to try!

I had lots of tinned mandarins in first trimester, then was melon, now peaches...this baby is making me very healthy!

ejclementine · 03/06/2015 20:27

Peaches added to the list!
FYI Morrisons are selling bags of lovely satsumas for 69p at the moment.

Satsumas tinned clementines/grapefruits and nectarines are all on my list 11 weeks here.

OneFlewOverTheMumsNest · 03/06/2015 20:42

Me too. One of the few things I could eat early on. Still love them now (due next week) but the buggers give me terrible acid reflux.

LillyBugg · 03/06/2015 20:45

Don't they go straight through you?!

Steph1502 · 03/06/2015 20:56

Loving fruit just now! Grapes are great for the nausea too x

zen1980 · 03/06/2015 21:08

Oranges were my thing upto about 20 weeks, anything that I could get orange as well. Unfortunately now at 30wks and have gestational diabetes so can't eat them in the volume I used to SmileSad

FernGullysWoollyPully · 03/06/2015 21:12

Loved them with DC2, couldn't get enough. She's 7 and absolutely hates them! Always has! Weird.

sarkymare · 03/06/2015 22:08

Screw you all! I only have to bloody look at a citrus fruit and the acid starts pooling at the top of my stomach.

I love satsumas as well!

sianihedgehog · 03/06/2015 22:09

I keep going on melon binges and eating 2 entire melons in a day!

Athenaviolet · 03/06/2015 22:10

Have them with your pregnancy supplement- it will help you absorb the iron.

stqueen · 03/06/2015 22:11

I'm another for satsumas - M&S ones are th best!! 37 weeks tomorrow! X

BikeRunSki · 03/06/2015 22:15

Get you lot. My youngest is nearly 4 but I mostly ate crisps and prawn sandwhiches.

mappemonde · 03/06/2015 22:16

I'm mainlining nectarines and apricots at the moment (9 weeks). Took 2 nectarines, 2 apricots and a big pot of chopped strawberries and galia melon in to work today!

With dc1 I used to get off the bus a few stops early to go to the green grocers, but a carrier bag (no exaggeration) of satsuma a and systematically go through them walking home. It was a pricey habit.

Dc2 was marmite toast and ready salted crisps!!

ejclementine · 03/06/2015 22:25

Haha! Lots of us crazy orange eaters out there then. I've run out and can't wait to get to the shop in the morning for more. Blush

Does apricot jam count?

I ate loads whilst pregnant with ds2. On hot white buttery toast with a cup of Earl Grey tea.
