I am expecting my third baby and amaround 5/6 months pregnant. Ive been doing a lot over the last week or so (not through choice ) and suddenly today I feel terrible. I feel so much pressure that the baby could be born now. I keep bursting into tears. Ive had a consistent pain on my lower right abdomen. I lay down at work for half an hour and felt ok afterwards. Now im just about to leave and pick the kids up and I feel the same again. I called the doctor but they could only see me at 6 oclock. By then my kids will be going crazy and I will end up feeling even worse. I have nobody to take care of them while I see the doc and they would have to wait with me.
Im hoping someone will tell me not tp worry, a good nights sleep will sort this out.
What do you think?

Hi Champagne, I don't have a lot of advice, but I have been in a similar situation over the last few days. I'm 19 weeks with twins (DC 2+3). I was signed off sick from work 2 weeks ago, and got the keys to my new house last week. DH saw me being off work as the perfect opportunity for me to pack up all of our worldly possessions so we could get moved in ASAP!
I know I have overdone it as I have been in absolute agony over the weekend, my stomach feels like it is going to split open, my back and ribs ache, I have no energy and I feel like I could cry! I feel that the 2 weeks off I've had to recuperate and the loss of wages have just been utterly pointless.
Your pain sounds like round ligament pain, I only ever got it on my right side with DS. If lying down helps, maybe you could look into some kind of tummy support for when you're sitting/standing? And some good painkillers?
Hope the children settle for you this evening so you can have a nice soak in the bath and an early night. Flowers

Thanks. I'm home now with the kids and feel fine when sitting down. As long as I don't have to do anything 'big' I think I'm going to be fine. It's a big worry though, I hate feeling so fragile.
