Nursing bra problem

Hi, I will be 36 weeks on Tuesday and need to get fitted for a nursing bra. The problem is that bizarrly my boobs seem to have shrunk a cup size during pregnancy rather than get bigger. I'm sure they will be a lot bigger once they fill with milk but as this may well be after the baby's born, it's pointless me getting measured for a nursing bra before then. I'm not sure what to do, should I just buy a nursing bra, say one cup size bigger than I am now and hope it will fit, or just not get one at all until after the baby's born? Thanks, Sarah

I've just ordered one called the Bravado Body Silk bra, which caters for different cups/back sizes per bra size (just comes in S, M, L, XL) and will change with you as you change, if you see what I mean... It might be worth looking for it. Have a look at the size guide on this page: www.nursingbra-shop.co.uk/bravado-body-silk-seamless-nursing-bra~112

I have the most difficult bust-size ever, with a small chest and wide back, meaning that bras are like fairydust to find, but have ordered one of the above in the hopes that it will actually fit - will see in a few days ;-) Hope that helps :)

It's indeed quite inaccurate to try to estimate your size based on your boobs during pregnancy. Yes, get something more stretchy first, and get properly fitted (by Bravissimo and not Mothercare or M&S) after having the baby.

I would get measured now and buy one. Get measured again a bit later a few weeks after the baby. If you can find a hot milk stockist even better! They are absolutely lovely and so comfy!

Don't waste any money on anything poorly fitted or by guessing sizes. Get measured once they've settled after a couple of weeks at bravissimo.
