Am I pregnant?

Hi ladiesI'm driving myself crazy and hoping for some advice. This is my 2nd month ttc. I have a 12 day luteal phase and I always can tell when I'm about to get af because of cramps and random crying. I've had light twinges/cramps for about 4 days now which is very unusual and af still hasn't come. Im on day 13 of my lp now so she is overdue. I had sex yesterday morning and when i went to loo afterwards there was a little red... but nothing has happened since. Usually when I get a hint of af that's it she doesn't stop! Could this be a sign that I might be pregnant and that the sex this morning disturbed a little causing the blood? Or am I being a crazy symptom spotter lol :-S I took a pregnancy test this morning but got a BFN xx

When is your period actually due? Was it yesterday?

What kind of test did you use? Was it a sensitive one? Did you test first thing?

The only way to know for sure is to wait a few days and test again (with FMU).
Were you on BC before starting TTC? That might mess with your cycles a bit.
Are you doing OPKs and/or charting your BBT?

Yes I was due on yesterday and used a first response test kit. Did it in the morning and the evening. The thing that was really unusual was the cramping for 4 days with no period and also the blood after sex. That's never happened ever before.. I've been using opks for the last 2 months but not tracking bbt... it's so hard to wait! Lol xx

If you tested with FMU on a first response it should have picked up and HCG by the time you've missed your period.

As someone else said wait a few days and test again if no AF.
