34 weeks pregnant

I've been having period pains on and off for a few days now.

And last night I was in agony with my right hip and back pain although that's gone now

Just wondering whether these are normal aches and pains at this stage?

I am 34 weeks and having been having similar pains on and off for last couple of weeks.

I'd recommend getting yourself checked out ASAP. It might be nothing, but the period pains + back pain would make me worried. I had the same at 29 weeks, it then stopped, but I went into preterm labour a few days later. The pains were due to my cervix funnelling.

Get yourself checked out - it's always better to be safe than sorry in pregnancy! They'd rather see you and it be nothing than miss someone going into early labour.
