Hey Everyone
Just found out im pregnant at 5 weeks!! Eeek! No idea what to do next!! And I have No idea what all the Abbreviations mean! Confused
I'm so excited - it's taken just under 1 year!! But is it normal to now think oh no i have to wait until my scan to check I'm still pregnant?!!
I've booked a Dr apt for next week - anything else I should be doing at this stage? It's gonna be a long 8months!!! Lol xx

Sit back relax and enjoy the rise - don't forget to take your folic acid and vitamin d and omega 3 . Get yourself some pregcare that has everything. There isn't a lot at this stage but just eat healthy and look after yourself. Until your 8 weeks scan where you see your midwife. Then your 12 weeks dating scan were you see the magic . If you're lucky you might have an 8 weeks one I did but because I had spotting ( implantation bleed) and they had to check if everything was ok. Congrats :-)

Congratulations! :)

as Cheshire said there's not much to do other than take your folic acid and look after yourself. I didn't even feel pregnant until I started getting a bump. It will fly by though x

Thanks Guys.
I've been taking the Folic Acid for a while now, so I need more vitamins? I'll look into that. Dr apt is next Friday so hopefully learn more then. Smile Reading more posts on here and I think I'll take the advice of being excited and what will be will be. You can't control things in life. Smile xx

Ah congratulations, the early weeks really drag and you may start feeling pretty grim soon but make the most of it and enjoy every second.
I've got a 2 year old and a 13 week old and miss being pregnant even though I didn't really enjoy it at the time.

Hey MissMartin - Same boat really 6+ weeks for me at the moment. It is DRAGGING. I've had to register for my antenatal care myself as i wasn't sure what hospital i wanted when i went to the Drs. Now i've done that online and they will send me a letter (which could take weeks) for my first appt then 12 week scan!

Just want to get to that scan and check everything okay!!
If 1992 is your birth year, looks like we are the same age too! Did you feel a bit judged? or was it just my nurse?

Congratulations though!! x
