Diahorrea 7+4

Hi everyone just wondering if anyone else has had diahorrea in early oregnancy ..... Just can't find any decent info online!!! Started last Thursday and had every other day once or twice on those days! I take pregnacare and wondering if it could be that or anything I should be worried about x

I did with my pregnancy vitamin too. A friend said it is normal as your body isn't used to the excess vitamins at first :) it settles out though.

I had diarrhea when early I'm now 13 weeks and it's stopped around 9 weeks some people get constipated other get diarrhea

Since taking prenatal vitamins I've had similar symptoms as you. I would mention it to your midwife and see what she says. My gp made me do some blood tests but they didn't find anything concerning. I've heard it may be the iron? You could perhaps try a different prenatal vitamin? I've gone from pregnacare to santogen mun to be and I think it's made a small improvement. X

It's normal and probably not the vitamins. Early pregnancy hormones affect digestion. For some people it cause constipation, for others it's loose bowels. I had diarrhoea v regularly for the first few weeks every time I was pregnant.

I'm 7+3, also taking pregnacare and having the exact same problem. It feels like a version of morning sickness to me, I've had intermittent nausea and been off food - although I haven't thrown up, just erm the other end...

I guess it's better than puking.

Thanks everyone .... Really reassuring that other people have the same thing!! Had a miscarriage in December and everything this time is just worrying me!! Today was worst it's been but forgot to take pregnacare last night so took it at breakfast instead and around lunch time I literally exploded .... That's what made me make the connection!! DH gone out to get new ones to see if they help any x
