Feeling fluey + period type back pains - early labour signs?

I'm 38+3 and for the last 24hrs just feel really fluey. Achy muscles, fuzzy head but no specific symptoms like sore throat or congestion.
At the same time I am getting lower back pain akin to period pains and have (sorry! tmi!) fairly loose bowels.
Just wondered if these had been signs for other people - I'm certainly not getting the mad energy urge to nest! I'm just shattered :-(
I'm booked for an ELCS next Tuesday due to baby being breech so do want to catch any potential labour signs early so I can go in and it not be an EMCS!
Also - if I am just coming down with something, will they cancel the ELCS?

For me, with dd1 I had period type aches and pains and loose bowels in the hours leading up to full blown contractions and labour.

As you're booked for elcs, I'd give labour and delivery a ring to get their take on it. Better to ring them now than realise in a little while that those aches have a very regular pattern to them.

And I doubt they'd cancel an elcs as baby is breech. You may just be kept isolated a bit more if you come down with something contagious.
