Spotting 12weeks the same time as period?!

I've been spotting for four days now just brown blood that's only noticeable when I go for a wee, is this normal?! On holiday abroad atm help

Hi Katie, from what I have read, this is pretty normal to have some litght spotting at the same time as your period would be due. I would personally just go to the Docs when you get back just to put your mind at rest. I would say (note that I am not a Doctor) that you should just visit the Doc abroad if you have cramps, or are in pain, and if not, take it easy, and just pop into your Docs when you get back. This would be my advice but hesitant to give it as I am not a professional. x

I had light periods /spotting all the way through my pregnancies, I found it scary each time having previously had an mc but it was just 'breakthrough bleeding' according to the docs. Try not to panic and see your doctor when you get back.

I had this at just before 8 and just before 16 weeks, when my period would have been due. Agree with PPs it's likely to be fine but best to get checked out when you get home.
