Very early positive result. Dates confirmed. Does that imply twins?

Hello,

Has anyone had experience of having an early result? I got a positive result on a FRER at 6dpo, then 1-2 weeks on a digital at 7dpo.

My dates are definitely right as I've just had a NHS scan which tallies with when I ovulated (I was using CB dual hormone tests).

It's too early to show a heartbeat but there's only one sack. I asked if that ruled out twins but she said there could be more than one in the sack. I have another scan booked for three weeks' time.

So has anyone had a positive result so early, and ended up with just one baby? DD is only 19 months old! Twins would be

Dates can be out by a week, so the fact they tally up means nothing!

I got my BFP at 10DPO, had a scan at 8 weeks and they put me back a week.

Had my 12 week scan and they put me forward a week.

I know I am 31+2 as I had progesterone tests which showed I had not ovulated, yet the hospital insists we keep the 12 week date which is 32+2

I was using clear blue dual hormone ovulation tests, so I know when I had high fertility and peak fertility.

Today's scan gives the same result as the ovulation tests do. The anomaly is the positive pregnancy result at 6dpo!

I guess it can happen, not sure what the earliest someone has had a BFP but everyone's hormone levels are different - doesn't necessarily mean twins, but possible.

I had bpf at 9dpo, we only had sex once that month. My twins are nearly three!

I had two negative tests when I was expecting twins - apparently the hormone is so out that the danger is a false negative. I very definitely felt pregnant so was so sure the tests were wrong.

My Twins was 10dpo and the faintest out of my 4 pregnancies

I tested positive with a really strong line at 10dpo. Had been vomitting for 3 days prior to that. We Barely had sex that month, so I was sure of my dates.
I spent the next few weeks shitting bricks about twins as I have s family history. We paid for an early scan at 9 weeks because we were so worried. Only one baby in there!! Phew!!
