Am I being unreasonable to want to poke said DP in the eye every time he mentions to every person that me meets that 'WE' (yes we Hmm) are having an ELCS.
I get that he's so excited and proud, I just want to bludgen him everytime he says WE! I know i'm a hormonal cow, but for the love of god man!! I'm having the bloody ELCS not you!
I do love him though. Grin

This would drive me potty too. Like the people who say "we are pregnant!" Gah, drives me bloody insane! I am also a little hormonal...

Haha, I love how irrational our hormones make us when we're pregnant.

lauraa4 · 25/05/2015 18:16

I know that you mean. I do find it a bit cringy when people say 'we are pregnant' Grin

sophiaslullaby · 25/05/2015 18:26

Ahaha, I've only just had a tense conversation with my DH about how he calls our home 'his house'.....sweetheart i bought the bloody house with you! So he's saying the opposite but my hormones are reacting the same -it's not that big a deal really.

I can see how its annoying but your partner saying 'we're having an ELCS' it's just his way of being involved and part of it. Sure he knows that you're really the superhero and will be the one to get the praise.

abbiebunn · 26/05/2015 11:05

I'm having a CS due to breech. Not my choice. But my DH is buzzing about the news. Going around saying how lovely it will be. Sorry buddy not for me! I'm the one getting cut open when I don't want to be!

ChucksAhoy · 26/05/2015 11:09

It's only happening to one of you - not both! I also find 'we are pregnant' cringy - it's 'I am pregnant' and 'we are having a baby' Ffs! Wink
