If you're seated am sure its fine. Baby can't hear that much at this stage!

Gillian1980 · 24/05/2015 22:25

It'll be fine :)

I'm seeing them tomorrow night and really excited for our baby to be at her first gig - I'm 27+3.

I'm expecting increased kicking and anticipating lots more loo visits than I usually do at gigs but other than that I'm just excited.

CityDweller · 24/05/2015 22:25

I'm confused. Why wouldn't it be fine??

AugustRose · 24/05/2015 22:38

I went to see Bon Jovi in Glasgow when I was 34 weeks with DS1 (18) and it was fine - friend got a bit worried when I took 45 mins to get to the toilet and back Grin - he's not a fan though Confused.

The worse bit was the bus back to Newcastle which stopped half way as we were being gassed by a dodgy exhaust!

happygojo · 24/05/2015 22:42

I was at radio 1s big weekend yesterday (not today though so missed out on the Foo's Sad) I am 28+6. Baby seems fine, and I was fine albeit knackered today! I stood at the back and sat down lots I also made sure I wasn't in a situation where I would be push around or crowded, at an arena you will be fine. At 17 weeks you will absolutely fine. Need to start em on good music young!

youlemming · 24/05/2015 22:46

It won't be an issue for baby in anyway I went to see Green Day when I was 20 something weeks and even though we had seats spent most of the time standing anyway.
Even for you at this stage unless you have been getting tired easily it shouldn't be a problem.
Baby had a great time jumping about and she now asks for Green Day to be put on in the car Grin

youlemming · 24/05/2015 22:47
  • she's now 5 and has great taste in music
frangipani13 · 24/05/2015 22:51

Do it! I'm 22 weeks and will be as well if I can get seated tickets. Need to start good habits early ;)

Racheyg · 24/05/2015 22:55

What is it you think might happen to the baby?

LBOCS · 24/05/2015 23:35

DH and I saw The Offspring when I was 30+ weeks. Great gig, baby was fine.

Pandoraperoxide · 25/05/2015 00:05

I'm doing download, granted not camping this year will be 22 w! But only live half hour away, then the following Friday we're doing foos! Sure baby will be fine Grin and will learn good tunes!

contractor6 · 25/05/2015 06:53

I heard if the baby gets used to noise now, it wont disturb them as much after they are born.

sianihedgehog · 25/05/2015 07:46

You'll be fine. I went to a 3 day dance music festival at 20 weeks.

RockerMummy184 · 25/05/2015 08:23

Woohoo! I'm going too! I'm 18+4 with twins and have standing tickets! Sooo excited, but expecting I'm going to be utterly exhausted tomorrow!
I went to see a few bands when I was pregnant with DS and he's fine...just don't be crowd surfing! ;-) enjoy! X

Hopeful83 · 25/05/2015 08:55

It'll be fine. I went to see Ed Sheeran at 37+2. I had a seat and a great time

RockerMummy184 · 26/05/2015 07:19
