Don't you just love how you become personal property and it's perfectly acceptable for people to ask whatever they like! My personal favourite is "are you planning on feeding yourself?" You can just feel the judgement before you even answer! The best thing is to have a rant and get it off your chest!
Hope you are feeling a bit better!

Also I didn't feel baby until 18/19 weeks.

Oh don't worry I've had one of those days today too. I cried because I didn't want to go out but cried because I didn't want to stay in all day! Hormones are crazy just now! Waiting to feel something is so frustrating. Hope you get a nice kick or elbow in the ribs soon! Grin

17.2 is still quite early. I'm 19 and just starting to feel mine - and it's not every day :) if your placenta is at the front I think it can be much later before you feel anything as well.

It is grim when you're public property isn't it? I try to see it as people being interested but just being gauche about how they express it. Smile, nod, ignore.

Enjoy your chicken (sounds like you have a nice hubby) and a couple of cokes now and then isn't going to do you any harm. I loathe the stuff but it was a godsend flat when I had severe sickness - midwife told me 'if it stays down, eat/drink it."

17 weeks is still early - I wasn't 100% I'd felt anything till around my 20 week scan don't worry!

I keep getting asked if I'm going to have another baby. That to me is THE weirdest question to a pregnant lady!

Thank you
you have all put my mind at rest.

Ugh the questions are hard to deal with when hormonal people dont expect it...because you're pregnant and should be always happy and over the moon right? (well no i've just had my head down the loo and i'm exhausted from getting up to wee all night and im crying because i split some milk).

A girl at work constantly looks at my belly when talking to me -im not evening showing! Except when i've eaten and therefore thats my bloated gut she's smiling at. Weird.
Smile
At least we all understand each other so Dandelionwishes i think your post is the best stress reliever and to know you're perfectly normal. Here's to feeling little flutters soon!
