Areola lost pigmentation?

Just that really! I know darkening is normal but I've developed white/skin coloured patches on one of mine - approx 50% of overall areole/nipple is LIGHTER than it was before pregnancy. not sore/lumpy or anything, but with only a few weeks to go now, am wondering if this is going to cause problems with breast feeding. Keeping forgetting to ask midwife... Anyone else had this? N.b patches about size of 10p and smooth so don't think they're Montgomery tubercules. Other breast seems fine - areola darker/larger than before pregnant but read that's normal. (32w and first pregnancy in case relevant)

Many thanks ladies!

I doubt very much it will matter for breastfeeding, but years from now if the pigment isn't back, you can get it tattoo'd (things I'd rather not know, but was in a leaflet friend showed me after getting her eyebrows tattooed on).
