Implanting or miscarriage?

We are trying for another baby - Thursday I had bright red blood, prob a teaspoon amount and a clot the size of half a pea. I assumed it was an early miscarriage, did pregnancy test Saturday came up negative, now I am 3 days late on period, took another test and it's come up positive 1-2 weeks. I'm worried though about whether the bleed was implantation or not? I didn't have that with my first pregnancy and reading on internet it says it's light pinkish colour. First doctor appointment I could get was next Tuesday so any thoughts you guys have much appreciated, thanks xxx

Bleeding, 2 days later a negative test, another 2 days later a positive test. Nope doesn't sound like a miscarriage to me. HCG begins to drop when a miscarriage starts. your first positive 4 days later indicates this is not the case as this shows that HCG has risen between Saturday and today.

I'm not sure what the bleeding was. It could be implantation or something else entirely. Either way in your situation I would be feeling quite positive.
