Am I leaking?

Hello :)

I am 17 weeks and really worried today not sure if I'm being silly.

Anyway when I went to the toilet this morning I smelt something like semen, gross, but I haven't had sex since yesterday morning. I smelt it again the next time I went to the loo and googled it and now I'm worried it's amniotic fluid.

The smell has gone now and I don't have wet knickers but I'm terrified as it's not the thing you expect to smell!

Could be some sort of vaginal discharge which is normal. I would phone your midwife to be on the safe side. They may want you to have a swab test to check.

I think given you had sex yesterday it's more likely to be semen, but if you're worried contact your midwife
