Help me find a double pram pretty please

Can anyone help me find a pram please? I need a double/twin buggy pram pushchair whatever you want to call it for a 1.5 year old and newborn to share. My issue is my car is tiny and the type of pram I want like an icandy is just way too big. I have a mothercare orb at the moment and it barely fits. I have a Nissan juke but the boot is tiny and with 3 dc and a DH can't put pram bits in the front of the car everything needs to fit in the boot. I know the easiest option would be bigger car haha but I can't for another year due to contracts etc. I know mamma and papas do a double stroller but not sure it's that comfy, ds legs hang over it loL. I would really love some advice on compact decent prams please x

We'll have a 19 months age gap and have been looking at a Phil and Teds (Navigator or explorer). It's footprint when up is loads smaller than the icandy which I found to be generally massive when I tried it out set up as a double.

We have a Phil and Ted's and have used it for 6 years. It isn't massively compact, but you can take the wheels off easily which makes it more compact. We are now expecting number four and have a 2 year old and the buggy is still going strong. I like the fact that it can be used as a single or a double and you can easily switch between them. We often use a sling for the baby and the buggy for the toddler if we are in public transport, but actually it isn't huge when being used as a double.

It is very very easy to push, has a great turning circle, and I have even managed to push it one handed while holding an umbrella. Do you know anyone who has a Phil and Ted's who might let you try to put it in your boot to see if it fits.

jubles Totally embarrassing question Blush Blush but I'm really scared my baby will "slip out" of the baby shelf thing when I go up a step or kerb-Is it ok?

I love my Phil and teds.
Dc2 is still cooking so I haven't used the cocoon yet but I've taken my DD and niece out in plenty of times and its great. It's skimmed than the m&p Luna I was using before.

Nicky the shelf bit in the Phil and teds has a 5 point buckle harness just like a normal pram (I have a navigator).

You might find the easiest thing to do with a tiny car is sling and single pram until you get a bigger car. I love my navigator but it's HEAVY to lift in and out of a boot, as is any double I suspect
