Can anyone recommend a good yoga pregnancy DVD?

I started yoga just before I conceived but my instructor is teaching me like I am made of glass and not letting me stretch much at all! I am fairly new to yoga (hence her worry) but I am very flexible and I don't find the positions a big stretch to begin with before she tells me I can only go so far!

I am going to finish the last 6 weeks and then go back to Zumba but do enjoy yoga so would appreciate a recommendation of a DVD I can do at home?

I have been doing pregnancy yoga and there is some great instructional vids on YouTube if you search pregnancy yoga. Smile

Plus if you have a smart TV you can get it on your telly screen.

Great idea! I didn't think of that, thanks.

I agree, just go on youtube - so many videos that I am working my way through. It saves the boredom of doing the same routine over and over again.

Some yoga teachers are nervous of pregnant women because of their indemnity insurance. Further, you are more flexible in pregnancy so more at risk of injury.

There are certain asanas you shouldn't do when pregnant. It might be worth attending a few specialist pregnancy classes just to get to grips with what you can/shouldn't do if youre fairly new to yoga.
