7 weeks and already look pregnant - how can I keep it a secret?

It's not just bloating - my tummy has rounded already. I'm going to have to move into maternity jeans etc already and I honestly look noticeably pregnant in anything remotely tight fitting. What did you all wear to keep it concealed before you were ready to share the news?
Sorry if this is a bit of a stupid question - baggy tops are just making me look even fatter Hmm

At work I wore either peplum tops or skater dresses I think their called. No one noticed until 17 weeks and trust me I had a very visable bump there! Grin

outside work it was pretty much the same thing just less formal. There are tops that aren't baggy that can hide things well lol!

You're right - I think people actually notice far less than I'm paranoid they will Grin Skater dresses are a good idea. I put on weight before I got pregnant so perhaps just generally feeling fatter!

Big blazers and oversized scarves are keeping me just about hidden at work - fifteen weeks now - and I highly recommend all the elastic waist clown trousers in the shops right now.

Basically I've temporarily adjusted my style to 'snazziest octogenarian in town' Wink

People notice far less than you think, I've realised. I too started 'showing' quite early (to my mind) in this pregnancy (my second). I usually wear quite fitted clothes and felt it was really obvious. Turns out it wasn't at all, in fact even now at 20 weeks (with a really obvious bump, I think) people are surprised when I tell them.

I 'hid' it a bit by just wearing slightly loser jumpers and tops.

Yeah, you'd be surprised how little people notice. I'm 23 weeks now and just last week a colleague said "wow, congratulations, I didn't know you were pregnant!" - to me it's been bloody obvious since I was about 8-9 weeks! People walk round with their eyes closed!!!

Congratulations on your pregnancy xxFlowers

baggy jumpers, blazers, scarves etc all work wonders. I found it really helped not to wear maternity trousers until I really really couldn't manage not to (about 23 weeks!) as there's something about how the waist sits that exacerbates a bump. normal trousers with a hairband to expand the waist and a bump band, or but some cheap ones a size up. better To have people think you're getting a bit fat!

I am 20 weeks and when I wear tight clothes have a very obvious bump - however when I am at work I generally wear looser tops and there are people at work who don't know yet so it must not be so obvious! Have been wearing maternity trousers for about 5-6 weeks.
