hello ladies, basically looking for some support..
I went for my 12 week scan yesterday, was 12+2. Baby structurally is fine, no defects, everything how it should be, but it has absolutely no space, the sac is quite small so baby is very curled up.
since my scan at 11 weeks baby has grown, it was 41.7mm and then yesterday 58mm. So that's good news.
my placenta is slightly enlarged and I have some slight fluid loss but we don't know why. The lady who scanned me again yesterday evening did a detailed screening scan, where she found that baby was completely fine but its heartbeat was 179bpm which was fast, and there was a slight loss of fluid.
She also said there is a slim chance of T13 syndrome due too fetal heartbeat and small loss of fluid. But no features are seen so far. Obviously if baby does have t13 i got told I will have to terminate. Which I found very upsetting of her to say in this cold way she did. I have bloods Monday so should tell us more.
I now feel complately in the dark to whether baby is going to be ok, the odds say not really but I'm clinging onto the positives.
just need the reassurance and support.
Xx
