Is increased discharge (sorry tmi) a sign that labour will be soon? I've heard arguements both ways, but wondered if anyone had any experience of this?
Thanks in advance xx xx

I think it totally depends on the individual. I have had almost constant flows of discharge over the last 3-4 weeks and nothing has ome of it.

When are you due?

lollipopz · 09/11/2006 14:38

Hiya am due in jst over 5 weeks, my last dd was born almost 4 weeks early so am probably just being paranoid!

I have had this too for the past couple of weeks ranging from clear to white. I'm only 38 weeks though.

I think it might be our bits preparing themselves for labour.

Good luck and hope our babies come soon.

I have just under 3 weeks to go, I have been trying to convince myself that he will be nice and early, but I think I am begining to realise that he probably won't be, I was induced with my first at 40+5 so I have no reason to think he would be this early.

I've had this from about 32 weeks. Almost 41 weeks and no sign.

I was worried about early labour too as sometimes it seemed to be quite a lot and I worried about my waters leaking. Was normal though and obv not a sign for me.

heavier discahrge is common in later pregnancy...and is different to having a show.....! so no.....not neccesarily....!
