Hi MissMartin.. I was definitely incredibly anxious, I'm 21 weeks pregnant now with my first, and my mum had a lot of difficulties with pregnancies/numerous miscarriages. My husband and I just sort of didn't talk about it too much, didn't think about names, buying anything etc until we were a lot further in..just take it each day at a time,it's natural to be nervous and anxious, and the further you get in, the more you can relax..I'm exactly the same. I'm sure everything will be absolutely fineSmile xx

Hi missmartin I'm sure this anxiety must be normal coz I have it too! I'm now 9 weeks and still constantly on knicker watch and panic with every new symptom or lack of! Its my first pregnancy too and it took over 2 years to conceive it and I'm worried as am an older mom.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and best of luck x

Plenty of miscarriages and ovarian problem on my mum's side - it is what it is and I don't give it a second's thought! I know it's hard if it's preying on your mind but I just said to myself at the beginning - there is nothing I can do and worrying will DEFINITELY not help me, my husband or my unborn child. Stay positive xx

Don't worry what your feeling is normal and I think most woman do worry abouthe miscarriage. I did have a miscarriage last year and unfortunately they are very common. However I'm pregnant again and now 21+4. I still worry even now but it only makes you go into a panic and chances are everything will be fine.

if you are that scared book in for a private scan. it is still very early days for you but might make you feel a bit better x
