Please help

Im having severe heartburn to the point I'm nearly sick.
I can't have gaviscon because it makes me feel even worse, I just tried to quickly suck/chew one and had to spit it out before I was sick!
Is there anything other than gaviscon that works please? Not rennie either as they are mint! I really really hate mint atm :-(

Get GP to prescribe omeprazole until then ranatadine?

Have you tried liquid Gaviscon? Maalox? Loads of water and try rice/potatoes. Steer clear of acidic food?

Didn't realise I could take omeprozol while pregnant, my dh has some I'll speak to the doctor, thank you.
Yeah I've tried gaviscon liquid in all three flavours I just can't stand it!
I'll drink more water, I had pineapple this morning so maybe that's why it's kicked up so bad!

I have orange Rennies cause I am intolerant to mint, they are more like sweets and I find they work well

ASDA sell orange rennies, I use those. Icy cold drinks help too

I second orange rennies, that's what I'm taking.

Ranitidine. Worked immediately for me. Gaviscon did nowt!

Tums are fruit flavoured, but I don't find them as good as orange Rennies .

Omprazole works better than over the counter things, but I have to say it doesn't always work for me.

Tums taste like refreshers
