Joint pain in the morning

Hi, I'm 33+3 days. For weeks now, I find it so painful on my joints getting up in the morning. My legs and pelvis hurt so much, I struggle to walk and have to hold onto furniture. I told my midwife who said this was normal and there was nothing I could do. I'm wondering if I may have SPD. Basically it's whenever I get up after sitting or lying down, my legs and pelvis hurt so much. It also hurts in my groin and feels like I've pulled a muscle in there.

Does anyone else have this problem and do you know any way to make getting up in the morning less painful?

Thank you, Sarah

I've had this since about 12 weeks, and it's just getting worse! I seize up when tired or still

I had SPD which lasted around 6-8 weeks and it was unbearable. I had to sit down to get my trousers on rather than standing to get dressed. Walking upstairs. Would seize up if i sat down for too long. Changing position in bed night time was always worse. Google SPD there are quite a few helpful tips there. I was referred to a physio but by the time my appointment came through it had gone.

Mostly i'd say try not to sit down in the same position for too long.

Sit down to get dressed.

Try and swing both legs out of bed slowly at the same time to get in and out of bed/car.

Use pillows for comfort at night.

Try not to hoover etc if you have help.

I'm sure you can find more helpful suggestions on google too though.
