Not nesting

I am 37 weeks and feeling guilty as I am not nesting. I have no desire to clean at all, I just want to watch TV/read ect.

Has anyone else had this?

Yes. It's not compulsory. You're 37 weeks. Give yourself a break

I am also 39 weeks, not 37... Keep doing that!

I'm 39+2 and haven't had the nesting urge either. I just want to go out and meet friends and family or read and watch TV. Oh and eat!

My nesting involves making DH do jobs around the house, does that count?

I'm 36 weeks now and I'm not nesting either. OH thinks I am because I cleaned the bathroom and organised baby stuff.

Well unpacked some gift bags really. That's the extent of it.

Really just staying on top of the cleaning!! Cos the bath doesn't clean itself, pfft!

Fuck nesting. I didn't nest at all. DH did though, which was quite amusing. I did go into a mad cooking frenzy (DH would come home to elaborate 3-course meals and home baked bread, the lucky sod) as I went increasingly overdue, but that was because it was the only thing that would distract me.

There was no nesting in my house. I ate, watched tv and caught up with friends in the last 4 weeks before DD arrived!

I'm too tired and uncomfortable to nest!

38+2 no nesting either, just fidgety days where I want to be out of the house

I am nesting by proxy and got a cleaner in to do a deep clean this week. Done!
