12 days over being induced tomorrow

So after 2 failed sweeps and endless walking baby is still being stubborn so we are booked in for induction tomorrow at my 2 sweeps I was given a bishop score of 4 and then 5 I'm 2-3cm dilated. MW didn't explain what this meant and after looking it up its about how successful induction is likely to be and basically anything less than 8 has a low chance of success! So I'm a little fearful it won't work - has anyone got any experience of a low bishop score and successful induction?

Is there any risk involved in waiting?
A couple more days might be all that's needed.

I was induced two days after going for a sweep - the sweep was not carried out because my cervix wasn't soft enough. No idea what score that is, but it can't be favourable!

Pessary in at 5pm, labour started at 12am, went to delivery unit at 3am. Labour stalled at 5cm dilated around 11am, at which point I went on the drip and epidural. Fully dilated by 9.30pm, but DD's head was huge, so she was born by EMCS at 9.50pm.

So the induction was definitely successful, even though I had a section in the end :)

Do you want an induction? Are you happy with the reasons given for an induction? Have they talked to you about what the alternatives are?

Just like giraffe, I wasn't even dilated when I was induced at 4:30pm. Went into labour at 12am!
