Lots of symptons but a negative test! What should I do?

I messed up on my contraceptive patches 2 months ago, I forgot to put one on after my week break but only realised a week or so later. The advice I got was to wait until my next period which I got on time but then forgot to put it on again! My boyfriend and I only had unprotected sex once but I was then 2 weeks late for my next period. I took a test which was negative and then got a very light period for 1 day, that was last week. I now have tender breasts but more so one breast than the other, am very tired and today started feeling a bit sick intermittently. I've taken a clearblue digital test today which is negative again. Am I likely to be pregnant???

From what I have read on here, clear blue digital tests aren't that sensitive at detecting pregnancy early on. First response tests are much better. I would buy a different one and make sure you test with your first wee of the day

Could it be from messing up the contraceptive patches?

I screwed up my pill last year and I felt pregnant for a month it was very rough but I wasn't actually pregnant it was the hormones rising and dropping

I've stopped and started the patch previously and not had problems but I guess it could be! Problem is is I need to find out ASAP as about to buy a house and pick up our puppy! So frustrating! Do GP's have more accurate tests or anything?
