Nub theory...?

I'm actually 20 weeks now but getting impatient about finding out whether the little human wriggling around inside me is a girl or boy! I've got next scan on Monday so will hopefully find out then. In the meantime please give me your thoughts on my 12 week scan pic, as I'm hopeless! I don't know if theres even a nub there or if its a bit of the babys leg! Thanks :-)

Yeah! I only really found out about this theory today and I've been staring at the pic trying to imagine something that isnt there I think! :-/ x

Yeah I'm going mad I think. I was a wee bit further on for my first scan (14 weeks) so I keep thinking: maybe it's enough for it to show up?? Lol. Aw time will tell I suppose. Congrats your scan pic looks fab xx

I've got my (second attempt at) 20 week scan on Monday too..they couldn't tell the gender when I had it last week and I've convinced myself we won't know now til it makes an appearance in September! I have to smile and say 'yes I'm sure it'll be nice to have a surprise though'Grin but inside I'm dying to find out!Sad Sad x

It's a bag of pants... Our 12 week nun couldn't have been anymore girly and he a boy!!

Aw thanks Steph, yes I love our scan pic too, the baby posed for us! Yes I guess it is a load of poo really but I am so eager to find out. It genuinely doesn't bother me either way but Itll make it all the more real I think.
Good luck with the scan Crafty! That's what I'm concerned about, them not being able to tell from my scan on Monday. It'd be bloody typical x

Legs were crossed at 20 week scan for us, so couldn't find out the sex. Was a bit dissapointed at the time, but have now (37 weeks) come to like not knowing. In fact I think I wouldn't want to find out if I were to have another one.
I wouldn't put 100% faith in it anyways. Have read loads of stories on here about people being told it was a girl only to have a boy, which would be more irritating than not knowing IMO.

Yes I know what you mean Totally. I think finding out its a different sex, esp after you've bought all the gender specific stuff, would be annoying. Thing is, there just arent enough unisex clothes out there- I've wanted to start buying stuff ages ago but have found mainly either flowery pink stuff or blue boys stuff and that's it! Its v limiting isn't it x
