Movement at 24 weeks

I have an anterior placenta and am 24 weeks. I occasionally feel what I think are movements. I'm going crazy worrying whether everything is ok in there! Is anyone else in the same situation? I try drinking cold drinks and laying on my side but it doesn't seem to work. I have a midwife app tomorrow and just can't wait to hear that heartbeat. I rang them a couple of weeks ago telling them I was worrying and they basically just told me to calm down and if no bleeding or pain things should be ok and not to worry! Just after some reassurance from people in the same boat?! X

I was the same, started feeling 'proper' more regular movement from 26-28 weeks. Can make you feel anxious but try not to worry you get to know your baby's pattern of movement rather than counting kicks

I'm 26 weeks with a anterior placenta and I often go all day with no movements. With my first pregnancy I felt movement much more regularly. It's only been this week that I have started to feel baby move a bit more and the kicks and movements are becoming more 'stronger'.

I was the same. Didn't feel a lot other than the odd flutter before 28 weeks. I think it's entirely normal with anterior placenta but obviously if you're concerned, speak to your mw or the labour ward.

Thanks for your comments. Didn't realise pregnancy would make me such a nervous wreck! Roll on my 12pm appointment!!! X
