Pain just above groin

I've been having on and off pain above the groin today when I lean against my left side. Googled it doesn't tell me much. Only have a 28wk scan yesterday everything was fine. Had baby move today too so wasn't too worried. But now pain is on & off even when not leaning that side.

Any ideas???

Sounds like the muscles or ligaments stretching, I have had pain in/around the groin/hips for a while now and also 28 wks.
If it carries on try a pillow between your legs at night and avoid stretching the area as in keep legs together while turning over or getting in and out of bed or the car.
It's quite commmon to get some pains but if it carries on maybe see the doctor about physio and a support belt as it could be the start of SPD.

I am only 24 weeks but ignored pain above my groin as being ligaments stretching since about 20 weeks. Finally went to the doctor and was told that I have SPD - much better now as I know what's wrong and am going to see a physio. I was surprised to learn that about 1 in 5 women suffer from some amount of SPD while pregnant, so it's definitely something to look out for!!

Thank you for getting back to me & letting me know. Luckily the pain has disappeared since this morning. But will definetly go to the doctor if it happens again.
