cheeky wipes - should I wash them first?

Does anyone know if I should wash cheeky wipes before I use them? A package has just arrived...

Yes maybe even a couple of times, I picked some up at the baby show, and spoke to them on their stand and they said it helps with the absorbency of the first use.
