Hello! I'm 5 weeks and experienced quite a bit of dull heavy cramping through week 4 not to bad today though and it's normal. If it becomes unbearable or you bleed call midwife/111 x

Pains in early pregnancy are relatively normal. Do they feel like period pains? I had crampy period type pains in early pregnancy, with both my pregnancies. It's due to your insides changing, growing and stretching!

Please call your midwife if it becomes severe or you experience bleeding.

Good luck :)

Firstly congratulations!! I got crampy pains in both pregnancies early on so i shouldn't worry, it may make them seam worse than they are!! If you have any worries though go to your GP for piece of mind Smile

I'm going through the same Louisa. I've got it on my right side. I've had it for about a week now with some period cramps but a bit worried that its not going away.
I've had three children and not had this before in exact same place so if it doesn't go in the next few days I'll check it out.
Yes, pregnancy brings lots of aches and pains but if consistent and persistent I'd defiantly check with midwife or go to put your mind at rest.

Congratulations Louisa
I'm also about 5 weeks pregnant and I've been having cramping during the last 2 weeks but only in the evening when I'm relaxing.
Try not to worry too much its absolutely normal Flowers

Hi Louisa

Congratulations! I had quite a bit of pain early on too. I worried a bit about it but at 17 weeks I think it is just normal. The other thing I have realised is that what is part of one person's pregnancy may not be part of another's. So don't worry and just enjoy being newly pregnant Smile

xx

I had a lot of cramps early on in my pregnancy. I found that using a hot water bottle really helped to ease things.

I'm about 4 weeks too, just found out this morning! I have been having dull AF type cramps for the last two weeks but this is my second and I had these cramps when I was pregnant with DD, think they lasted til I was about 7 weeks! Congratulations Flowers x
