I am 6 weeks today. This time 10 days ago I couldnt go over speed bumps in the car without my boobs hurting. Today I woke with normal feeling boobs, although I do have slight tenderness now at 7pm. I had a mmc at 10w , 2 years ago and this happened then. Did anybody have this with a positive outcome?

Yes I've had this and am now 20 weeks pregnant :-). But I also worried because I'd had a miscarriage last year too, so there's always a tendency for us to assume thr worst! I was worried when my sickness eased off too! It is probably normal hormone fluctuations. So try not to stress because that on its own, doesn't mean anything bad :-) x

Thank you Plonkie. I am driving myself insane. Even the nausea which I felt up on and off up until yesterday has been absent today. To all intenta and purposes I feel totally normal.

Honestly, it's completely normal to have days where you feel pregnant and days where you don't. When I had the miscarriage last year my symptoms did disappear v quickly so I know that it's not always going to be good news when it happens, however I promise I had loads of days in my current pregnancy where it's happened and everything's been ok :-). If you haven't had any bleeding or bad cramps as well, the most likely explanation is its just stupid hormones!

Is there any way of having an early scan to put your mind at ease? I had one at 7 and half weeks as I was worried, and it was brilliant. Really helped! I just asked for it as I was going a bit bonkers torturing myself about what happened last time x

And I understand you being doubly worried as you had the mmc last time, I'm guessing without any other symptoms then? But its still an unsual situation for it not to be accompanied by another sign xx

I have a scan booked for Saturday so until then I will just be trying to keep everytging crossed.
With mmc i had some spotting about now (6w) and a scan in the following few days showed a sac measuring about 4 weeks...subsequent scans over the following weeks showed slow but little growth until eventual loss at 10w, it was torture!
I've not seen any spotting thus time....although as this was ivf I have progesterone and estrogen support, which I'm thinking may stop spotting (may be wrong there).

Hm yes I don't know whether they would stop spotting or not. I would have thought not, but I'm no expert! The fact that you've had no other signs is really positive and I'm so glad you're having an early scan :-). I can tell you're v concerned and I feel for you hun.

I've got my anomaly scan on mon and although there's been no problems up till now, I'm still v nervous as well. the unknown is horrible isn't it! Xx

Oh that's amazing! Congratulations! You must be so relieved :-). Although saying that I was still terrified until the 12 week one. Its only now at 20 weeks I've chilled out a bit. But saying that I've got the anomaly scan Monday and I'm nervous! 2 heartbeats too? Ooh twins how exciting :-) xx
