Could I be?

Hi,
Can anyone advise me pls?My period was supposed to come yesterday, have been having period pains for 2 weeks now, painful ovaries on a particular day and when i wiped myself the other day this jelly sort of thing came out. I also feel the unusual urge to pee all the time.
I did a test last thursday (3 days before my period was due)but it was negative. Am i being too hopeful or could i be pregnant?

I suggest you do another test as you can get a false negative :) xx

The only way to know is to do a pregnancy test. Period symptoms are cruely close to early pregnancy symptoms.

Pregnancy tests are not very accurate before your period is due. I would take another with FMU tomorrow.

hi , I'm all new to this !!! I had ivf on 1.5.15, I had 1 Frozen blactocyst transferred .. I did my test on thurs and got a positive on a clear blue digital.. Saying 1-2 weeks pregnant .. I then went on to test further and got a further 2 more positives ... Was over the moon .. But today when I tested I got a negative on all 3 .. Please anybody can give me some advice ... My body is telling I'm pregnant ..

A positive definitely means you are pregnant as you cannot get a false positive, only a false negative! Congrats on your pregnancy!

I'm not sure there are no false positives applies when it's an IVF situation?? Not sure, but there are so many artificial hormones sloshing around that it can throw things off.
Didn't they tell you to have a blood test, shaz?

Shaz your normally told not to test at home for two weeks after ivf as the hormones you put in your body will say positive on hpt (well that's what my friend was told) so normally do a test twos weeks after ivf as if test still positive its normally means pregnant so the false positive does apply in pregnancy. Check with dr for blood hcg that will confirm x

Hi girls,
Thanks for all your replies the other day and sorry for disappearing like that! Shannonb94 I haven't done another test yet, I'm 3 days late now but want to wait a few more days...I'm actually freaking out at the moment and am not feeling so good today, so that probably isn't helping :-(
Shaz5555 can you not check with your doctor just for peace of mind?
