Hello I'm around 6 weeks pregnant.
I'm going to have my second internal scan tomos to see how things are going as my hcg levels were rising but did not double at first they have now doubled twice they are concerned as couldn't see the fetal pole or sac yet should I be worried I've had no bleeding xx

The hcg doubling is a good sign, but there's often not much to see on a very early scan especially if your dates are out a bit. At 5-6 weeks you often don't see the heart beat whereas after 6-7 weeks you generally can. This means that if your dates are a few days out, as is very common, you may not see much.

Good luck with it! Hopefully you'll see a heartbeat, but don't panic if you don't. And always ask questions. It can help to write them down before you go as lots of people can get a bit flustered and forget what they wanted to ask. Take a notebook with your questions in in and a pen to write down the answers.
