I'm 31 weeks pregnant with baby number two. My son was a right wriggler when I was pregnant and still is now Smile

This time around I felt movement earlier than I did with my first but the movements feel weaker and less frequent than with my first.

I do feel her move quite often but sometimes have quiet periods where I don't feel her for quite a while. The movements seen more like jabs, rolls and flutters than kicks. Although, I do feel little kicks low down. (MW thought she may of been breech when I last saw her)

I've been to the hospital for reduced movements and had a scan which showed her to be moving lots but I couldn't feel it at all at the time? Odd..

Lady at hospital said you should feel 10 movements a day (which I do). Some say you count how long it takes to feel 10 (should be within 2 hours) and some say to just take notice of your babies usual movement patterns.

Any advice?

has anyone mentioned an anterior placenta to you? it means the placenta is at the front rather than at the back, so cushions the kicks Smile

v common! I had an anterior placenta, was always in for monitoring! everything was always fine. but of course, keep going back in whenever you feel you need to.

if you look at your 20w scan, it may list it on there. that's the only way I knew about mine!
