bleeding urgent please help

hi ladies, its my anniversary weekend and im 22+1 with dcda with twins (completely separate).
its been a little passionate, and after our most recent fun i took a bath and realised i was bleeding. it was red fresh blood but not loads, and probably looked worse due to the water. it seems to have stopped now and i dont feel pain or unwell (just sick and a bit faint because of the stress)
i am an hour and a half away from home, 2 hours from my hospital, i dont have my notes and i dont want to waste anyones time, especially as it has stopped.
has anyone else had a little bleed post sex and been fine? x

I always bleed post sex. I've checked with gp and im fine, apparently it's realitivley common. In your situation I would ring midwives especially if it's unusual for you xx

Apparently there is so much more blood flowing around and your cervix is so much more sensitive that even a little knock or poke can make it bleed. Most likely that. Fingers crossed that you have no more of it, but you should check with your dr when you can.

Probably a bit of erosion of your cervix, I had lots of bleeds caused by this with both my pregnancies, usually after sex or if I strained whilst doing a poo .

Do get it checked out tomorrow though if you can.

If you have any further bleeding or are stressing to the point you can't relax/calm down then I would enquire as to the nearest hospital and ask them to have a look at you. Just for the reassurance, although it's true that bleeding after sex can happen and isn't necessarily indicative of anything other than being a bit more sensitive etc down below.

thanks everyone. it stopped straight away pretty much and i have had no pain, felt both babies move. im sure its nothing, its just really scary! thank you for the reassurance, ill ring my midwife tomorrow
